ABOUT OAK HOUSE
A place for the people who are used to holding it all together.
Oak House was created around a simple idea: the people who spend so much of their lives showing up for others deserve somewhere they can put some of it down.
We believe therapy can feel warm and human while still being honest, thoughtful and grounded in evidence. A place where you can make sense of what you've been carrying, understand yourself more deeply and figure out what moving forward looks like for you.
WHY OAK HOUSE
Because being capable doesn't mean you should have to carry everything alone.
Oak House grew from years of working alongside people who are incredibly good at getting through hard things.
The first responders who stay calm in chaos. The healthcare workers and helping professionals who spend their days caring for other people. The partners and families holding things together behind the scenes. And the people who have simply learned, for one reason or another, to keep going.
Again and again, we saw how easy it is for the people who carry the most to become the last ones to have somewhere to put it down.
Oak House was created to be that somewhere.

MEET ANNA
I believe good therapy should feel like talking to a real person.
I'm Anna, a Registered Psychotherapist and the founder of Oak House Therapy Co.
Over the years, I've worked with people navigating trauma, high-pressure careers, burnout, relationships and the complicated experience of being the person everyone relies on.
My style is warm, straightforward and human. I'll listen carefully, help you understand what's underneath the patterns you're noticing, ask the harder questions when they're useful, and work alongside you to figure out what actually helps.
You don't need to perform in therapy or say things the "right" way. You can show up as you are.
WHAT MATTERS HERE
Warmth, honesty and therapy that has a purpose.
WARMTH
Therapy should feel like a conversation with a real person. You can show up as you are, without needing to have the right words or tell your story perfectly.
HONESTY
Feeling supported doesn't mean avoiding the hard things. We can be compassionate while still getting curious about patterns, asking difficult questions and talking about what might need to change.
PURPOSE
Therapy should help you understand yourself more deeply and make meaningful changes in your life - not just give you another place to hold everything.
